DAY 01 – Airport / Dambulla / Habarana
Arrival at Colombo International Airport where you will be meet & welcome by Walkers Dream representative, Proceed to to pinnawala one of the largest elephant orphanages located in Sri Lanka. The elephants are fed at the orphanage and bathed in the nearby river twice a day. Which will be unforgettable experience for you, on completion Proceed to Dhambulla. The rock of Dambulla is the centre of a Buddhist cave-temple complex established in the 3rd century BC and occupied continuously until today. After visiting Golden Temple of Dambulla Continue to Habarana. Overnight at Habarana Hotel.
DAY 02 – Habarana / Sigiriya / Minneriya / Habarana
Early Morning Proceed to Sigiriya. sigiriya is one of Asia” s major archaeological sites. Sigiriya presents a technology and art sigiriya has been named as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982.
On completion Proceed to pollonnaruwa, polonnaruwa District in the North Central Province, Sri lanka, the second most ancient of Sri Lanka kingdoms. Today the ancient city of polonnaruwa remains one of the best planned archeological relic sites in the country, declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO.
Evening Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park. Minneria National park affords the opportunity to sight herds of elephant throughout the year. After thrilling safari at minneriya proceed to Habarana, overnight stay at the hotel in Hbarana.
DAY 03, – Habarana / Kandy
After breakfast proceed to Kandy via Mathale. Visit a spice garden in Mathale .to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for.Continue to Kandy. Kandy is a world heritage site is home to numerous Buddhist temples including the sacred Temple of tooth relic.In the evening enjoy a cultural show of traditional dances stay at the hotel in Kandy.
DAY 04 – Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast proceed to peradeniya royal botanical garden .peradeniya well known for its large number and variety of plants. Ornamental, decorative, useful& medicinal on completion visit gem museum, silk batik shopping’s, Continue to Nuwara Eliya with its home gardens of plants, and flowers and cultivation of vegetables, even today its is known as little England.
En-route visit to a tea. Plantation. Sri lanka is one of the world largest exporters of tea. Since the introduction of tea. To Sri lanka in mid 19 centaury Nuwara Eliya has been the capital of the tea industry. Overnight stay at the hotel in nuwara eliya.
DAY 05 – Nuwara Eliya / Yala
After breakfast proceed to Yala . On the way to yala pause at the paradise like a village of Elle to admire the magnificent view of Ella gap.
Continue to Yala .
Evening safari at Yala National Park. The Elephant, undoubtedly the best known attraction at Yala is seen in small & large herds. Herds of spotted deer are seen all over the park. Wild buffalo & wild boar could give you a good surprise & the sight of a leopard sunning itself or drinking water a water hole could be memorable experience. On completion return to the hotel overnight stay at the hotel in yala.
DAY 06 – Yala / Mirissa
After breakfast proceed to Mirissa
En- route vist wewrukannala Vihara is dominated by an image of a seated Buddha.it is 150 ft high , the statute in all of srilanka.
On completion continue to Mirissa 4 km of Welogama Mathara road has a beach with calm, clear water. To those whow fancy colorfull festivities , the humble fishing hamlet of Mirissa holds a masked dance called Gam-Maduwa a showacased of the traditional kolam masks
DAY 07 – Mirissa / Colombo
Early Morning visit Whales watching. The ever smiling, mischievous dolphins will put on a show while some of the oldest and the largest sea creatures, the humpback and the blue whales, will nonchalantly glide past you, when you embark on a whale/ dolphin watching excursion off the Southern, Eastern or the West coast of Sri Lanka
En-route visit Dutch Fort at Galle, close to the island’s southernmost point, 173km from Colombo, has the distinction of being the best-preserved sea fort in South Asia. This World Heritage Site on the south coast was the main port of call for ships sailing between the East and Europe.
